Why I'm Building Terminal X

Most trading terminals look like they were designed in 1995. And in a lot of ways, they were.

Bloomberg Terminal costs $24,000/year and its interface hasn't fundamentally changed since the 80s. It's powerful, but it's optimized for a world where information was scarce and the primary value was access.

That world is gone.

The Shift

We're now in a world where information is abundant — the bottleneck is synthesis. An AI that can read 1,000 earnings calls in the time it takes you to read one changes the calculus entirely.

Terminal X is built around this insight. Instead of just displaying data, it reasons about it.

What We're Building

A terminal where you can ask questions in plain language and get answers grounded in real data. Where pattern recognition happens automatically. Where the interface gets out of the way and lets you think.

The goal isn't to replace analysts — it's to give every investor analyst-grade leverage.

More soon as we build in public.
